AVAILABLE ADULT DOGS
Occasionally we have an adult dog that is in need of a new home. This may be due to retirement, a puppy we got for our program that ended up not meeting our breeding standards as it aged, or they have been brought back to Golden Valley, no matter the age as per our contract, to ensure all of the puppies produced from our program always have a safe home . All of our adult dogs will come up to date on all vaccines, dewormed and current on flea and tick prevention. They will also be spayed or neutered. ​​

​Hudson is a dog who is from our very first Golden Valley litter. He recently returned to us after his family made the realization that they weren't giving him the life he deserves. He was pretty over weight and spent the majority of his life outside due to his jumping and lack of training from his family. So far Hudson has been adjusting well to full time inside living, has been losing a healthy amount of weight and has done so well on all the new training and the new routine. He's even becoming best friends with the cats. ​He would do well in a home with or without another dog/pets.​

He has been mastering commands like sit, wait, his recall, and he is no longer a jumper! He does great being left inside when we are gone and doesn't have accidents or chew things up. Since losing weight he has been more playful and able to run around more comfortably chasing the ball with our pack. He just wants to be with people and loves to sleep under our bed at night and never wanders off when we are outside working on the farm.
