THE STORY OF GOLDEN VALLEY FARM & KENNEL

We are a young, Veteran couple living in the beautiful Willamette Valley on a 20 acre slice of heaven. We started Golden Valley in 2017 when we purchased our first female Ruby. We chose goldens because of their overall personality, loyalty and their ability of being perfect family pets but also knowing they have potential to become working dogs for those in need.

We spend most of our time outdoors rain or shine but really enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, going out on the lake when the weather is nice. We try to include our dogs in as much of the activities as possible especially camping trips.  We have 3 cats who rule the house and 2 cats that enjoy the outdoors more hunting and climbing trees. We like to raise and treat all of our animals with the respect and care they deserve including the ones we raise for consumption.​

Here at the farm, our dogs thrive best when outdoors with room to run. They are very comfortable with livestock (cows, llamas, chickens, pigs) and have been fantastic at keeping the deer and predators away. We love spending time outside working on our property while our dogs run and play freely or lounge close by.
